The ErgoMax Compliance Chair™ is a PostureWatch™-equipped workstation seating solution that addresses the dual challenge facing modern employers: the legal obligation to provide ergonomically sound working conditions, and the performance management opportunity created when employees fail to use ergonomically sound working conditions correctly. The chair's sensor array monitors spinal alignment, lumbar engagement, and seated weight distribution in real time, transmitting posture data to the PostureWatch™ dashboard where it is visible to HR, facility management, and the employee's direct manager.

The ErgoMax Compliance Chair™ ships with a 47-page Postural Wellness Policy generated by our partner platform Policy Proliferator™, which establishes spinal alignment standards, defines non-compliant posture categories, and outlines the progressive wellness intervention protocol triggered by sustained non-compliance. At Tier 1 (slouch detected for more than 12 consecutive minutes), the chair generates a gentle haptic reminder. At Tier 2 (sustained non-compliance across 3 sessions in 5 business days), a wellness check-in meeting is automatically scheduled with the employee's manager and a representative from the People Operations team. At Tier 3 (chronic non-compliance), a formal Ergonomic Development Plan is initiated and added to the employee's HR record.
